Sodium-ion Battery

Great Power has carried out research on sodium-ion battery technology since 2019. The company has prospectively laid out sodium-ion battery technology in 2021, and filed application, gained approval of multiple patents in the layered oxide and poly-anion technical systems.

In 2022, Great Power successfully completed serial trial production and sample testing of small cylindrical.

In 2023, Great Power signed a demonstration project of 5MW/10MWh Sodium-ion Battery Energy Storage Power Station with Qingdao Beian Holdings and Noan Technology Co., Ltd., marking the commercialization of Great Power’s sodium-ion battery and it is a milestone in sodium-ion battery industry.
